Your home is now on the market and you are ready for showings…what do you need to do to prepare your home for potential buyers to view it? BPG Realty has some helpful showing tips to welcome visitors and make your home present as well as possible.
Open all draperies and window shades during the daylight hours.
Turn on all lights and replace bulbs with appropriate wattage bulb where needed.
Open windows 3- minutes prior to showing to circulate fresh air during warm weather.
Place fresh flowers on the kitchen table and/or living space.
If possible, bake cookies or bread to add an inviting aroma (don’t use overpowering air fresheners or leave candles burning).
